The show, which runs from June 18 – 20th is attended by the top defense and security professionals, providing a perfect medium to display the strong capabilities of Deep Trekker in defense situations.
Deep Trekker will be exhibiting at booth number C12, with their 250 gallon tank of water with live demonstrations for firsthand experience of the maneuverability and portability of the ROV. Deep Trekker will also be launching their new Sonar system at the show, which is crucial for the defense market when visibility is low.
Deep Trekker is very excited to launch their newest innovation at UDT 2013, Sam Macdonald Deep Trekker president notes: “The venue of UDT 2013 is the only place we would want to launch our new Sonar system, we know that along with the extreme capabilities of our ROVs this additional accessory will make Deep Trekker the trusted choice for underwater defense. “
When faced with a threat or unknown situation, knowledge is imperative and time is critical. Deep Trekker gives you eyes in the water in under 30 seconds. Use to perform security sweeps of ship hulls and piers quickly and reliably. Additionally, identify and remove threats or contraband from vessel hulls, structures and seabeds with or without diver intervention. Deep Trekker can be used as a rapid response tool for mine countermeasures, providing sonar locating and a high resolution, real-time visual image of the device. The portability and accessibility is what makes this ROV so attractive, with onboard batteries, the DTG2 is fully self-contained, with no need for external power, topside box, or other installations.
