Deep Trekker Announces Exclusive Live Demonstrations at AquaNor 2015 in Trondheim, Norway August 18 – 21
Ayr, Ontario Canada – July 29th, 2015 – Deep Trekker Inc. announced today that they will be offering live demonstrations of their aquaculture remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) at AquaNor 2015 in Trondheim, Norway August 18 –21st. Anyone interested in learning how to easily and regularly inspect their submerged aquaculture infrastructure are invited to visit booth E-448 for their personal demo.
The team will be showcasing how the portable solution is a vital asset to every fish farm, giving individuals the ability to inspect their pens and fish health at any moment, first hand, and without a diver. The event is the world’s largest expo for Aquaculture and Fisheries, making it the ideal location for Deep Trekker to showcase their aquaculture-inspection remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).
With the world’s growing population, the need for fish farms will only increase to meet the demand for food and protein. At most aquaculture sites, at least 90% of the infrastructure and farm is submerged and out of view. Norway specifically, is leading the way in environmentally friendly means of fish farming. With tools such as the Deep Trekker ROVs, aquaculture farmers can have constant eyes on their farm in order to maintain a proper ecosystem.
“Farmers need a view of their entire farm at any moment without relying on divers,” commented Sam Macdonald, Deep Trekker President “We have delivered this in a small, affordable, and easy to use package, and because of this, Deep Trekker ROVs are now the de facto standard for aquaculture inspections.”
Deep Trekker will be at booth E-448, with their remotely operated vehicles and test tank, and will be launching their newest options specifically designed for the aquaculture industry. “After months of testing and iterations, we are happy to be bringing our mort retrieval system with us to demo at AquaNor this year,” commented Sam Macdonald, Deep Trekker President. “The mort pusher will change how current inspections of fish farms are conducted.”
With the use of the mort pusher mounted on the ROV, not only can farmers inspect their nets and pens daily, but they also have the ability to immediately retrieve any morts from the pen in order to perform diagnostic tests. This allows them to gain a real time understanding of what is happening on their farms.
Please visit the Deep Trekker at booth E-448 to learn more, or visit their website at www.deeptrekker.com. Deep Trekker will be holding a reception at their booth on Wednesday August 18th between 2 – 5pm to officially launch their new options.
