The Australian International Dive Expo has today, become a one stop platform for divers and non-divers alike to discover and learn about scuba diving and all things related to the fascinating underwater world. From August 2-6, Deep Trekker will showcase its fully submersible remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) at Darling Harbour, Australia alongside the Sydney International Boat Show as the two shows join forces as a central hub for water technology.

The surrounding waters of Australia are famed for colourful reefs and unique marine life. Exploring the depths of the Indian and Pacific Ocean by boat or scuba diving has long been a joy of its inhabitants and vast tourism. Deep Trekker is excited to offer a way to investigate these waters from the comfort and ease of a boat or sailing vessel, or offshore in tandem with divers.

With depth ratings of 150 meters, the DTG2 ROV is the perfect system for underwater diving in the surrounding waters of Australia and for inspections around boat hulls and docks. The sensors allow operators to easily determine the depth and heading of the ROV once it is underwater and out of sight. With onboard batteries with up to 8 hours of battery life, the handling of an ROV on a boat and in water has never been more simple – and the ocean has never been more accessible for the marine enthusiasts who love to explore its depths.
