The Rise in Trenchless Technology | NASTT No Dig Show
Deep Trekker is providing municipalities with new technology to help improve water challenges and depleting subsurface infrastructure. The company will attend the NASTT No Dig Show March 25 to 29 – largest trenchless technology conference in North America.
New Technology at NASTT No Dig Show
The NASTT No Dig Show brings together professionals from various industries across North America to network, educate and push forward trenchless technology. This year, contractors, utility owners, damage prevention engineers and industrial facility personnel will visit Palm Springs in search of cost effective, environmental savvy technology to assist with the growing water challenges of today.
Deep Trekker will showcase its line of fully submersible crawlers and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), designed to inspect, maintain and repair buried infrastructure.
The Latest in Trenchless Technology
Allowing operators the ability to see what’s happening in stormwater and wastewater systems without disturbing them is not only critical to subsurface infrastructure but also to the maintenance of our water supply. As drought, flooding and pollution across the globe and in communities across North America has shown, water challenges are increasing, tremendously.
With each passing year, the structural integrity of many municipal water management systems are reaching the point where they need to be repaired or entirely reconstructed.
Municipal infrastructure across North America is in poor condition, increasing the risk of service disruption. The use of trenchless technology as a relatively new method of installing and maintaining underground pipes without need for evacuation is one that Deep Trekker has been highly experienced in for years.
DT340 Pipe Crawler
The company’s remotely operated vehicles offer solutions to underwater emergency and routine inspection work. As a truly portable system with on-board batteries, operation is made easy and there is no need for bulky generators or power supply near inspection areas.
The DT340 Pipe Crawler is fully submersible and equipped with a pan/tilt/zoom camera to inspect hard to reach areas. All of Deep Trekker’s robotic systems offer instant deployment and include a super bright handheld controller for intuitive piloting. As our cities continue to grow and infrastructure ages, Deep Trekker offers viable solutions for effective pipe inspections.
