Underwater Drones helping the Aquaculture Industry
Kiara Vallier | June 24, 2016
Earlier this spring, Amanda and Sam had the chance to join the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in British Columbia to show off our underwater drones and explore how they are useful in the BC Aquaculture Industry. With beautiful sites, remarkable wildlife and friendly people the trip was a huge success and a ton of fun.
They took the boats out in the open water and took turns picking up objects off the ocean floor. The catch of the day? A sea cucumber (that was released safely back into the ocean afterward).
Take a look at a video from their time there.
Also, a huge thank you to the DFO out in BC for continuing to be the best hosts every time we make the trip out West.
