NOAA Funding Opportunity

Are you a researcher or activist for marine conservation? If your research project focuses on species recovery then you could be eligible to receive funding from NOAA. Applications are due by October 8th, 2015 and awards will be finalized by springtime. The focus of this grant is to encourage projects and initiatives that are centered around marine species recovery within our oceans. For more details about the application process, eligibility and timelines take a look at the NOAA website.
"NOAA is funding Species Recovery Grant projects in every region of the country. Funded awards support management, research, and outreach efforts designed to bring vulnerable species to a point where Endangered Species Act protections are no longer necessary." To date this grant opportunity is supporting 5 new projects and continuing 14 multi-year products.
