DT340 Pipe Crawler package for easy sanitary sewer and stormwater pipe inspections
The DT340 X package is an even more well equipped setup in comparison to the S package. The X comes with everything you see in the S, plus the rear camera for returning around bends or monitoring your tether on retrieval, our powered reel for easier retrieval and payout of the tether, our tracks for large diameter stormwater pipes or culverts, a more compact 10" pipe rubber wheel kit, a sonde for locating the crawler with a utility locator, a wheel spacer kit for even more stability in large diameter pipes and a 400 meter (1,312') tether. The tracks are great for taking on sediment, mud, sludge, gravel, large disjoints and more.
Rugged and durable design
Utilizing tough materials including anodized aluminum, stainless steel and sapphire for the camera lens cover, the DT340 is built to withstand the punishment that trenchless technology is inevitably subjected to.
Completely submersible
The DT340 utilizes an innovative magnetically coupled drive system for the wheels, which means that the crawler is completely waterproof and does not require ongoing maintenance. Many other crawler systems require regular gasket replacement or nitrogen gas filling to maintain their ability to keep water out.
Truly portable system
With batteries on board the DT340 and the handheld controller, there are no external power requirements to operate the crawler, so need to drag a generator or have a power source nearby your inspection. The tether is a much smaller diameter due to not needing to send power down the tether to the vehicle, making the entire setup one man portable and easy to deploy.
