Two years ago Deep Trekker posted a piece on our blog expressing how excited we were to have customers in 34 countries. Throughout the past four years Deep Trekker attended numerous trade shows around the globe and shared the capabilities of our DTG2 mini-ROVs with fishermen, energy producers, aquaculture professionals, commercial divers, police forces and private contractors.
Today we are very pleased to announce that we have more than doubled our reach around the globe. Our customer base now reaches across 70 countries. In the two years since our last blog post we have introduced our two new product lines; the DTX2 ROVs and our DT340 Portable Pipe Crawler Systems. We continue to attend various trade shows and conferences throughout the years and aim to maintain lasting relationships with our customers.
The DTX2 ROVs are built on the same foundations as our DTG2 ROVs. They provide a robust and easy to use tool that can reach depths of 305 meters (1000 feet) incorporating vectored thrusters for easier lateral movement. With the launch of this system we saw further growth into the Search and Rescue and Offshore markets.
The DT340 Pipe Crawler systems allow us to offer an inspection solution for municipalities and private contractors that is entirely portable and requires absolutely no additional equipment such as a dedicated service truck. Now operators can perform pipeline inspections (wet or dry) from any access point without worrying about hooking up additional lines or bringing along extra power sources.
It is through our attendance at trade shows that we are able to connect with our global customer bases face to face. From Underwater Intervention to Aquaculture UK, OTC to WEFTEC, IFAT to CANSEC, we love having the opportunity to meet with all of you while learning about the industries you work in.
Last but not least, we have YOU to thank. Thank you to all of our blog readers, customers, and supporters. Without your support, feedback, and correspondence we would not be where we are today. We will continue to listen and deliver the products you need to perform the important work that you do. A giant THANK YOU from all of us at the Deep Trekker team.
Check out some of the photos we've taken/been sent over the years... maybe you'll spot yourself!
