Rapid-Response Underwater ROVs for Military and Defense

Self-Contained Underwater Systems for Military Operations

From EOD support to post-blast analysis, Deep Trekker ROVs deliver portable, low-maintenance solutions purpose-built for defense missions. Designed to operate in Area Denial (AD) and Anti-Access (A2) areas, remote, or contested environments with minimal logistical footprint. military and search & rescue applications.

Mission-Configurable ROV Platforms

Deep Trekker ROVs are modular, open-platform systems that integrate seamlessly with defense-grade tools - imaging and navigation sonars, USBL tracking, laser scalers, manipulators, and more. Adapt quickly to mission-specific requirements including mine identification, hull search, and threat detection.

Force Protection and Tactical Reconnaissance

Beyond military use, Deep Trekker ROVs support maritime security and port authority operations. Ideal for underwater crime scene investigation, evidence recovery, threat assessment, and diver overwatch, these systems improve safety and situational awareness during high-risk operations in low-visibility or hazardous environments.

Target Identification and Threat Assessment

Whether conducting critical infrastructure inspection, ship husbandry, damage assessment, or route clearance, Deep Trekker ROVs deliver visual and sonar data to enable rapid underwater decision-making. Maintain operational tempo while reducing diver exposure in confined or contaminated zones.

Expeditionary ROV Systems for Tactical Deployment

Deep Trekker systems are designed for rapid deployment in field and vessel-based operations. Compact, battery operated systems like the PHOTON, PIVOT, and REVOLUTION can be deployed from hard case to water in approximately 30 seconds, supporting operations from vessels, small craft, docks, or expeditionary staging points. While portable and field-ready, systems such as SPECTRA utilize a topside power system for extended-duration operations and higher power availability, making them suited for more demanding inspection and intervention tasks where endurance and continuous operation are required.

Diver support with ROVs

Deep Trekker’s diver-held hand controllers provide subsea access to confined or hazardous environments for visual recon and situational awareness before entry, without increasing diver penetration or exposure. Used for pre-dive reconnaissance, internal vessel inspections, or entry-denied zones, the system supports tactical planning and threat confirmation, and reduces decompression obligations and operational risk to personnel.

Rugged Systems: Mission-Ready and Operational

All Deep Trekker ROVs are delivered fully assembled, pressure-tested, and validated for immediate operational deployment. High-durability tethers (up to 800 m) provide robust signal transmission in high-interference or low-visibility environments. Engineered for sustained deployment in harsh maritime theaters, each platform is built to support persistent operations across littoral zones, strategic port facilities, and forward expeditionary environments. Proven in field conditions, Deep Trekker systems support mission continuity with modular serviceability and rapid logistics turnaround.

Reconnaissance and Position Tracking for Maritime Response Missions

The REVOLUTION NAV package provides integrated DVL and USBL capabilities to support underwater recon, search, and sweep operations. These systems enable precise geolocation, waypoint logging, and breadcrumb tracking - critical for reacquiring and positively identifying targets during EOD, MCM, or hazardous response missions.

Crews can verify coverage zones, confirm previously searched areas, and mark points of interest with geo-tagged video, still imagery, and operator notes for post-mission intel and analysis. Map overlays and station-holding functions support systematic pier, berth, hull, running gear, and bottom searches, ensuring thorough area clearance while maintaining real-time positional awareness in GPS-denied environments.

These capabilities enhance operational efficiency while minimizing diver exposure and enabling thorough verification of potential hazards - explosive or otherwise - prior to manned intervention.
