A-150 Mini Pipe Crawler for small diameter pipe inspections
The A-150 is the most portable and easy to operate crawler for between 6" and 24" (150-600mm) diameter pipes. The A-150 is fully steerable with a compact track belt driving the vehicle. This track belt enables the crawler to get over disjoints and obstacles as well as mud and debris. The wheel kits add to the outside to increase traction, stability and to raise the camera up higher. The A-150 X package includes carbide wheel options for traction in PVC and clay pipe. The camera is also adjustable in height with the lift arm, you can set the head to be in the center of up to a 12" (300mm) pipe. The package includes a powered counter reel that indicates on screen the distance you have travelled in the pipe so you can determine where in the pipe defects are when you find them, as well as retrieves the crawler automatically and pays the tether out as you drive to help with traction. The A-150 has a pan tilt camera that allows you to rotate the camera 360 degrees and tilt the camera 270 degrees to make a full, thorough inspection. The crawler and handheld controller are battery powered, allowing you to deploy from even the most remote locations.
Rugged and durable design
Utilizing tough materials including anodized aluminum, stainless steel and sapphire for the camera lens cover, the A-150 is built to withstand the punishment that trenchless technology is inevitably subjected to.
Completely Submersible
The A-150 is tested and rated to a depth of 50 meters (164') underwater, with virtually no ongoing maintenance required.
Truly Portable System
With batteries on board the A-150 and the handheld controller, there are no external power requirements to operate the crawler, so need to drag a generator or have a power source nearby your inspection. The tether is a much smaller diameter due to not needing to send power down the tether to the vehicle, making the entire setup one man portable and easy to deploy.
