Dubai International Boat Show and Underwater Drone Display

The Deep Trekker team is about to launch into an incredibly busy 2018 trade show season. With one of our first stops is at the stunning and modern city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, home to the Dubai International Boat Show.

This will be the fourth year in a row that Deep Trekker has participated as an exhibitor at the boat show, and in 2018 the city has barred no expense. This year to showcase the world’s yachts, marine services and state-of-the-art technology, a brand new venue has been built on the Dubai Canal, Jumeirah. Dubbed ‘Mina Rashid Marina’, and inaugurated by HH Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, the Deep Trekker team is thrilled at the opportunity to showcase their complete line of remotely operated vehicles and underwater drones at the inaugural event of this stellar facility.

The UAE’s maritime industry is expected to reach US $66 Billion in 2018, and the glamorous new venue on the Dubai Canal was designed to be the city’s centerpiece and a must-visit destination on every global watch list. Stretching over 13 km in length, the Marinas project will accommodate 5,000 boats and yachts.
