Deep Trekker Inc. announced today they will be exhibiting at INMEX 2015 in Mumbai, India this September 23rd - 25th. The Mini Remotely Operated Vehicle manufacturer will have its DTG2 ROV on display in the Deep Trekker 200 gallon demonstration tank alongside Elcome International at Stand C10.
Deep Trekker ROVs are operated in many different industries across the globe: Aquaculture, Offshore Oil and Gas Drilling, Commercial Diving and Salvage, Military, Search and Rescue, Environmental Monitoring and many more. INMEX, was chosen as a premiere event to showcase the ways Deep Trekker ROVs are used in the shipping and offshore maritime industry.
Deep Trekker ROVs are ideal tools for the professionals attending INMEX, more specifically for cargo ship hull inspections. Deep Trekker ROVs can be used to inspect everything from the hull, the bow thrusters, the bilge keels, the rudder structures and any other nook and cranny underwater. The DTG2 is less than 14 inches in width, allowing it to fit into small spaces.
Deep Trekker ROVs have been used extensively to monitor and inspect ship integrity. The capabilities of Deep Trekker systems are showcased through these videos captured while performing hull and thickness test inspections.

ROVs and dive teams are used now for hull inspections, though it is believed that the industry that supports 90% of the world’s cargo does not have thorough enough inspections.
"Routine inspections of hulls is the best practice for mitigating security risk, preventing small repairs from becoming larger and reducing the amount of time needed during official classification inspections," commented Sam Macdonald, Deep Trekker President. "We believe with our compact and easy to use system, these procedures will be more regular."
