WATERLOO, ONTARIO, CANADA February 6th, 2014. Deep Trekker today announced they will be bringing their 250 gallon demonstration tank and their premiere underwater exploration tool to the Miami International Boat Show, February 13th – 17th. The DTG2 underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) is the ultimate tool and toy to discover shipwrecks, coral reefs and the mysteries of the underwater world. Attendees are invited to come experience being an ROV pilot themselves at both booth C98 in the Convention Center near the electronics room and at Brownies Yacht Diver’s outside tent, 3952.
Deep Trekker is excited to return to the Miami Boat Show with their DTG2 ROV to showcase their many developments to their product from last year’s show. “So much has changed for Deep Trekker in the last year,” commented Sam Macdonald, Deep Trekker President. “We have changed the ROV body to die-cast aluminum for ultimate durability, integrating a monitor screen to the controller for complete portability, increasing the depth rating to 250 feet and added many new accessories. Now we have a completely redesigned exploration tool that is even more entertaining and useful to fisherman, treasure hunters, yacht owners, or anyone else curious about the ocean.”
With onboard batteries, the DTG2 is fully self-contained, with no need for external power, topside box, or other installations. Deploying in less than 30 seconds, the Deep Trekker DTG2 can easily be used at any research or exploration site. The Miami Boat Show is an outstanding event to showcase Deep Trekker’s complete line of remotely operated vehicles (ROV) and bring the wonders of the underwater world to the attention of every yachting enthusiast.
