New Research Vessel for Deep Trekker Team

Today marks a new era for Deep Trekker. We have officially launched our very own research vessel, appropriately named “Deep Trekker”. We could not be more excited to take on this next adventure, and are looking forward to sharing the findings of our many expeditions this summer.

So far we have inspected our hull with the DTG2 ROV and did some testing of the TriTech Gemini 720is multibeam sonar. Throughout the summer, we plan to explore and map some known and unknown shipwrecks in the Great Lakes.
