Spring into Trade Shows
Kiara Vallier | June 28, 2013
Over the past few weeks our team has set out on a mission to cover as much ground as possible without going crazy. Well we certainly covered some ground, but as for the crazy part – the verdict is still out on some! Since May 15th we have attended 5 different trade shows. Yes, that’s right about one show a week. We have traveled to Ottawa twice, Guelph, Toronto, and finally over the Hamburg Germany, hauling along our 250 gallon tank of water for live demonstrations of the Deep Trekker micro ROV. Safely landed back in Waterloo, Ontario we have plenty of stories from our adventures, great new contacts, tons of positive feedback, and some new ideas for future developments for our DTG2 series.
The fitting end to our sprint came on the first day of summer. As we look back on this spring, attending port security, international defense, aquaculture, and nuclear trade shows; it is clear that the Deep Trekker has an endless amount of applications in all different industries. The amazing thing is that no matter what industry show we were attending, the positive feedback on our unique design is outstanding. Our ROV is something that you have to try for yourself to understand the ease of maneuverability with our integrated controller and pitching system. This past month we have shown thousands of people how to drive our ROV, and we hope to see you at one of our upcoming shows so that you can experience the magic as well.
For now as we head into Canada Day long weekend, we will be enjoying our own Deep Trekker ROVs in the Great Lakes before heading out on our next trade show sprint. Let us know where you would like to see us next!
